RISE Prep Academies (formerly RISE Prep Mayoral Academy), located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, is a tuition-free K-12 public charter school network committed to providing a focused and supportive educational experience for students from Woonsocket, North Smithfield and Burrillville.

Since 2015, we have empowered our scholars to achieve success in college and engage meaningfully with their communities. It is our belief that college begins in kindergarten.

Our structured learning environment features a rigorous college preparatory curriculum alongside a comprehensive character education program, ensuring our scholars are exceptionally prepared for their futures, no matter where it takes them.

Between RISE Prep Lower Academy (K-8) and RISE Prep Upper Academy (9-12), our school network will serve 640 scholars in the 2024-2025 school year.

To gain enrollment at RISE Prep Academies, scholars must enter a lottery system run by a completely independent third party.
